Of high priority to Ocalafornia is our commitment to environmental and financial sustainability, thus we are working towards a continuous-harvesting farm, where different species of fruiting trees, shrubs, vegetables and livestock are growing and maturing throughout the year. We select the most outstanding cultivars and species that thrive in this region, that complement one another on the pallet and the planting, nurturing and harvesting schedule.
OUR STORY
Ocalafornia was created in order to have a premier destination location which blends the relaxing vibe of California and the breath-taking beauty of nature. Remote from urban life, the property is waterside to Lake Bryant, the heart of the Ocala National Forest located in Central Florida.
Within a short drive from Ocalafornia, there is a limitless amount of fun to be had. The Ocala National Forest provides hiking and biking trails in the heart of this Florida treasure. Silver Springs State Park, also close by, is home to a botanical garden featuring over 138 species of plants and features a wildlife show in addition to glass bottom boat cruises on crystal clear rivers.The Orlando famous attractions as well as horseback riding, gun ranges, and Jeep and 4-wheel trails are a short distance away from the property.
